Engraving:

Engraving has long been considered as the most elegant of the printing processes. It has traditionally been the most frequent choice by professionals wishing to convey an image of sophistication, stability and confidence in their correspondence. The high degree of quality and the look and feel of engraving simply cannot be achieved by any other method of applying ink to paper.

The photo engraving process begins by exposing an image, through film, to a copper plate that has a light sensitive coating. The plate is then acid etched. Only the areas that where exposed to light will etch.

Once the die is made and set up on the stamping press, the recessed image in the die is filled with very opaque, environmentally-friendly ink. The ink is then forced into the sheet of paper with several thousand pounds of pressure per square inch. The result is a finely detailed image raised off of the surface of the sheet and a slight debossing on the back of the sheet.>>more information

Offset black and Engrave white.	Engrave beige, Yellow and Blue.	Engrave 6 colors Inside: Offset gray on left (imprint0 & offset Bkgrd of box red and engrave over box in red.	Offset black & PMS blue and Gold Engrave.
Offset black & PMS red and gold engrave.	Offset black halftone and engrave balck and purple copy.	Blue, Yellow & Pink gloss pigment foil and gold engrave w/ burnish.	Engrave PMS gray.
Outside is engraved in red & green and the back in offset PMS purple.	Red & PMS blue engrave all except the large 0 in '2002' is dull blue pigment foil. Bookmark : Copy is engraved in PMS beige and blue. The large 0 is dull blue pigment foil and the large is star is dull ivory pigment foil.	Inside is engraved in purple and Red.	Bookmark: is engraved in green & purple.
